Exclusive Product Design

We've designed all our products and you won't find anything like them anywhere else. We're not the only company to make a First Year frame or a School Year frame, but we have the best quality and the best design. Our few competitors don't use acid-free mat board like we do, and they typically clutter up the mat with old-fashioned art work. Our mats have either linen or pebbled finish - not the stark flat finish you'll typically find, and they're available in white and 8 hand-painted colors that are ours exclusively. Our competitors typically offer only 1 or 2 frame colors. We offer a wide variety. They don't include a handy outliner - we do!

Personal Customer Service

Our Customer Service staff have been with us for many years. They know the products very well - in part because they share some of the production work. They can answer any questions you have and deal with any problems. They do occasionally have to call back people during peak call times, but you won't be put on hold long or get busy signals. And, when you call, they'll be able to see every order you ever placed with us.

Dobrin Industries Bio

The company was founded in 1990 after the original Time-Frames 2501 was designed by the President for his nephew. At first it was made in his apartment and sold in a few local gift shops. National direct-mail advertising began in late 1993, and a production space was rented in the "Old Harrison Plant" in Lockport, New York. We've been at the same location since then, now occupying 6,500 square feet of what is now called Commerce Square.

As is the case with most direct-mail companies, sales from advertisements were not sufficient to make a profit and the company lost money for several years. Mr. Dobrin was confident that subsequent sales from previous customers would eventually grow enough to make the company profitable, and that is precisely what happened.

Over the years we have expanded our product line to suit almost any occasion, including births, graduations, and anniversaries. New products are in development and we plan to continually increase our product line.

We assemble most frames per-order but we buy many of the empty frames from Kandu Industries, a non-profit company which employs people with disabilities. This company employs and trains over 900 disabled people each year, so when you buy one of our frames you help create opportunities for adults who lack other alternatives.

PLEASE NOTE
In order to make sure your order arrives in perfect condition, a lot of effort must go into custom packaging and shipping. Our shipping rates include cost of a specially designed box, custom packing materials, and extensive labor. We only wish that picture frames were as easy to ship as software or books! Our rates are based on List prices. Sometimes you will pay more than our costs and sometimes less. Overall - we make no profit at all from our shipping fees.

It's 30 days after you receive your frame - not from date of order. If you live on the other side of the country or the earth, you still get 30 days in your home to decide if you want to keep or return your Time-Frames. So, 30-Days means 30 days in your home!

You only need to notify us within those 30 days - you are not required to return the items to us within those 30 days. Once again, there is no penalty for being distant. Also, you don't have to worry about how long it will take your return package to get to us. So, 30-Days means 30 days in your home to inform us that you are not satisfied.

Now, if you are one of the 1 in 500 customers who is not satisfied, return the items to us, preferably in the original packaging.

When we receive your returned items you'll be fully refunded in 1 or 2 days, not "in the next 1 or 2 billing cycles" like many companies do. Yes, it is harder for us to do this, but this is what we would want when we order online. We figure the little extra we do pays off in the long run, and that philosophy has worked for us since 1990.
